MY UNDERGRADUATE LIFE

Hello colleagues  


 

December 3, 2022, became my final date in writing the story of “my undergraduate life” at Yogyakarta State University (UNY) - one of the leading campuses in the City of Education. It has been exactly four years of studying. Here is a recap of my journey:

 2018

- Officially become an undergraduate student of automotive engineering education at UNY

- Actively organizing in the UNY Automotive Student Association(HIMA Otomotif). Get a mandate in the Entrepreneur Division with work programs such as Entrepreneurship Seminar, Rental Sound System - Lighting, Rental Car, and Selling Donuts. Also, participate in big events such as the Car and Motorbike Contest for DIY - Central Java regional level, AUTODAYS, at Sie Decoration and Design. One year of being active in HIMA Otomotif taught me how to organize, lead, and develop a sense of togetherness.


 

2019

- Joined the Garuda UNY Team (GUT). Positioned in the Design Engineer division with daily tasks to design vehicle parts such as car door systems and transmission systems. Three years in this organization became a place for me to forge myself, hone skills, break the limits, work under pressure, solve problems, and make innovations and achievements. Unforgettable championship when the GUT was ranked 5th in the Global Virtual League-Shell Eco Marathon 2021, which was attended by 235 teams worldwide. Our achievement was obtained after collecting championship points in 3rd place Adobe Digital Literacy Award, 2nd place in Virtual Technical Inspection, 1st place in Vehicle Design Award, etc. 


- First time I took the opportunity to become a volunteer in the Venue Staff and Logistics Division at the 2019 APA SPORT MEET event. This Sport Event has been held every three years, and this time organized by PT Pelindo II. It has a format like the Olympics, but with 1000 athletes from nine member countries of the Asean Port Association (APA). Teamwork is all we need.

2020

- Pandemic hit the world. Everyone must adapt to the new way of studying. Zoom, Google Classroom, and Microsoft Team are the applications we often open. You can learn anywhere. The distance between lecturers and students is not a barrier. Until I got an international credit transfer opportunity at Asia University in the International Business Strategy Theory course, and at FPT University in the Introduction to Data Science course. 


2021

- Headed the Committee for the International Webinar “Gain Achievement for the Future” with speakers such as Prof. Herman Dwi Surjono (as The Dean of the Engineering Faculty UNY), Mr. Danny Eka Saputra (as Racer), Mr. Ahmad Wildan (as Safety Investigator), and Mrs. Elvan Kuzucu Hidir (as TEKNOFEST Executive Committee Member). The event was attended by more than 500 participants from high school and university students from all over Indonesia. 


2022

- Student exchange at Kasetsart University. 5 months lived in the land of the white elephant. I was adapting to a new culture in Thailand, experiencing new learning materials and different learning atmospheres on the Kasetsart campus, and knowing how to survive in this beautiful country. My friends and lecturers there were very supportive to me in all subjects, such as the Automotive Battery System, Engineering Composite Material, and Energy Audit courses. 

 


- And finally. I graduated after completing my thesis in the same semester when the student exchange went on. Such a miracle.

I want to thank to my lecturer, Dr. Zainal Arifin who gave me the way, the opportunity to explore my abilities, to guide me in working on my thesis. Dr. Sutiman, who has provided direction, input, and experience working under pressure while I am actively organizing in the best student car team in Indonesia, Garuda UNY Team. Mr. Ibnu Siswanto, who in every class motivated me to be able to experience studying abroad. Mr. Wardan Suyanto, who is always close and kind to his students.

Alhamdulillah, the roller coaster during my college days was over. In the future, I will face new challenges. As people say, “You will deal with the real-world situation.” I hope in the future, I can apply and develop the knowledge that I have learned—success for all of us.

MY BIGGEST STEP ON 2024: JOIN BYD MOTOR INDONESIA!!

Hi... Entah mulai dari mana cerita ini akan aku rangkai. waktu terus berjalan. hari demi hari telah berlalu. Sedangkan aku sudah berada di tempat yang baru. Ya benar. sesuai judul dari postingan ini. aku bergabung di perusahaan baru yaitu BYD Motor Indonesia.  hari ini adalah 14 Mei 2025. Ketika paragraf pertama diatas aku tulis, bisa dibilang aku sudah bergabung di perusahaan baru sekitar 8 bulan. waktu yang sudah cukup lama untuk merangkai kata kembali sebenarnya. Tetapi dibenakku selalu terpikirkan, kapan aku akan merangkai cerita lagi?, kapan aku bisa menuangkan segala pemikiran yang ada di otakku menjadi catatan catatan kecil di cerita ini. aku juga teringat sebuah kalimat, its better late than never. maka dari itu, akan kucoba kumulai kembali, goresan goresan ini. DARI ORANG JEPANG KITA AKAN BELAJAR APA ITU TERIMAKASIH

     Ya. Menurut kalian, hal apa yang pertama kali muncul di pikiran kalian ketika berbicara tentang orang Jepang? Yang ada di dalam pikiranku selama ini adalah mereka sangat paham tentang budaya "Mengantri". hahaha. setidaknya itu yang selalu bermunculan di media sosial. Barisan antrian orang orang jepang selalu rapi dan tidak kacau seperti negara lain. lantas apa ada pendapat lain menurut kalian mengenai orang Jepang? mungkin seperti orang jepang terkenal dengan kedisiplinannya, kerapiannya, kebersihannya, Rasa terima kasihnya terhadap orang lain baik kepada guru atau orang yang telah menolongnya/memberinya bantuan/berbuat baik kepadanya.
